This relaxed full-day itinerary combines nature, culture and food. Start morning pickup for a seamless experience with plenty of time at each stop.
Your guide collects you from your Moshi hotel around 08:00–09:00 (Arusha ~earlier). Scenic 45-min drive to Materuni Village through farmlands with Kilimanjaro views (weather permitting).
Arrive and start with traditional Chagga coffee tour: walk plantations, learn harvesting, roasting, grinding and brewing methods. Taste fresh coffee and hear stories of Chagga life.
After coffee, hike ~40-60 min through lush trails, banana/coffee fields and forest to Materuni Waterfalls (~90m high). Enjoy stunning views, swim in natural pools and relax under the cascade.
Your guide points out plants, birds and shares more about local ecology and traditions. Perfect for photos and refreshing dip.
