This relaxed full-day itinerary focuses on unwinding with plenty of free time at the springs. Morning pickup ensures a smooth, scenic journey.
Your guide collects you from your Moshi hotel around 08:00–09:00 (earlier for Arusha). Enjoy a 1-1.5 hour drive through countryside, villages, baobabs, acacias and possible Maasai sightings with Kilimanjaro views on clear days.
Arrive at Chemka oasis and start relaxing – change into swimwear and enter the paradise of turquoise pools.
Spend several hours in the crystal-clear, warm turquoise waters: swim, snorkel (gear optional), try rope swings/jumps, get a natural pedicure from doctor fish, relax on shaded platforms or spot blue monkeys/birds in the fig/palm trees.
The refreshing pools (not boiling hot) are constantly renewed – perfect for floating, photos and complete unwind in this jungle oasis.
After a full relaxing day (typically depart ~15:00–16:00), head back with the same scenic route. Arrive Moshi late afternoon (~17:00) and get dropped at your hotel – refreshed and revitalized.
