This private mid-range itinerary follows the classic Northern Circuit route with full flexibility. Your dedicated guide tailors each day to animal movements and your interests.
Your private 4×4 collects you from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi (or Kilimanjaro Airport) around 08:00. Scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (≈2–3 hours).
Afternoon private game drive en route to your lodge/camp. Tarangire is famous for huge elephant herds, baobab trees and excellent dry-season wildlife viewing along the river.
Early private game drive in Tarangire (06:00–09:30) – excellent for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and more elephants. Breakfast at camp, then depart for Serengeti.
Game drive en route through the park. Arrive Serengeti around midday and continue private afternoon drive – look for big cats and plains game as the sun begins to set.
Early private game drive (06:00–10:00) – prime predator time. Return for breakfast and rest, then afternoon private drive (15:00–18:30).
Seronera region offers world-class big cat sightings: lion prides, leopards in trees, cheetah hunts. Hippo pools and river crossings (seasonal) are highlights.
Early private game drive in Serengeti, then depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afternoon descend into the crater – highest Big Five concentration in Africa.
