This full-day itinerary maximizes wildlife viewing with game drives and optional walking. Early start for best animal activity; flexible based on preferences.
Your guide collects you from your hotel in Moshi (~06:00–07:00) or Arusha (~07:00–08:00). Scenic ~1-hour drive to park entrance with Mount Meru views.
Enter park and start game drive: spot giraffes, buffalo, zebras, warthogs and monkeys in open areas and forests. Head toward Momella Lakes for flamingos, hippos and birds.
Drive to Ngurdoto Crater (little Ngorongoro) for views of dense wildlife below. Optional guided walking safari (with armed ranger) through forest/crater rim for closer bird/primate views.
